I received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in May of 1997 at Boise State University and began my social work career. In December of 2005 I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University and my Clinical Endorsement in December of 2010. I have enjoyed many areas of social work and continue to be passionate about assisting children and families who have experienced trauma. My work also encompasses anxiety, depression, stress, life challenges and more.
I am proud to have been one of the original members on the Board of Directors for the Nampa Family Justice Center. I continue to be passionate about the fight against family violence and sexual assault.
My approach to therapy is client centered with a focus on assisting the clients to find their own path of healing and wellness. I use many theories of treatment in session to include but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Solution Focused, Brief Focused, Adlerian Therapy, Client Centered and EMDR.
While not a work I enjoy spending time with my family, sports, fishing and outdoors.
